We are pleased to announce the future release of the Marcos Ambrose 2010 #47 "Zippo" nascar.  This is the car that won Watkins Glen in 2010.  A three-peat for Marcos and an historical occasion.  We are taking pre-orders for this car and expect delivery approx December 2010. 

The Marcos Ambrose "Kingsford" 2010 #47 and "Kleenex" 2010 #47 have been cancelled.  Without strong support from the Icon Models customers the manufacturer was unable to meet minimum quantities.  We are pleased with this result as the 4 original cars were too similar.  Checkered Flag have just informed us that they are replacing those 2 cars with the "Little Debbie" 50th Anniversary #47 that he is currently running.

To promote Nascar diecast in Australia Icon Models is selling a large range of U.S. drivers for 2007 - 2008 at the unbelievable price of only $30.00 per model plus postage.  These models were offered to Icon Models by Motorsports Authentics in an effort to raise Nascar awareness.  The Nascar races are receiving a strong following from Australians since our own Marcos Ambrose started racing in the Craftsman truck race in 2006.  Marcos has made his way through Craftsman truck, Nationwide and now Sprint Cup.  We are all looking forward to following both Marcos and the other colourful Nascar characters through 2010.   

The first container load of our 1/8 scale XW arrived last week.  2 days later we were off to the Bendigo Swap Meet.  We are back now trying to catch up.

We received in the first container 360 units of our latest Australian produced First Gear Truck.  Our Boral Mack Granite Cement Mixer is shown under First Gear 1/34.

We ordered from USA 76 units of the 2009 Prelude Dirt Car for Marcos Ambrose in Kingsford Matchlight livery.  This is a first in best dressed item.  The product is due approximately March/April 2010.

We have received advice this morning that the XWs are now not leaving China until 17th October, always happens doesn't it!  That should put them in the factory 1st week November.

Today we received confirmation that the first shipping container of XWs is scheduled to leave China 26th September 2009.  We anticipate we will have it in the factory 2nd week October.

The Marcos Ambrose Craftsman truck is being delivered to our factory today. We will start posting them out next Tuesday.

We will have the prototype of the Silver Fox XW at the All Ford Day, Eastern Creek NSW this coming Sunday 31st May 2009.

The Marcos Ambrose Craftsman truck left China (via ship) Tuesday 19th May. We should have the product in our factory 1st week June. Icon Models own the total production run of this "Team Australia" craftsman truck and it is available to order now from our website.
