The owners of Icon Models,  Ken & Debbie Leach, started commercially in the model car industry over 15 years ago after being avid model collectors.  Ken currently owns and operates Shire Models in Sydney.

After our many years of retailing to the collector and discussing with collectors their wants and dreams we came up with the idea of our new project.

Our concept model is being developed by First Gear Inc., one of the leading diecast manufacturers in the USA.  Their expertise and modern technology are second to none and we are very proud to have them come on board.  For design and detail, First Gear are working hand in hand with a highly reputable processing plant in China.

Icon Models is a 100% Australian owned and operated business.  We have spent hundreds of hours, dozens upon dozens of phone calls, trips overseas and an unbelievable amount of emails working on this amazing project.   We are extremely excited about this model, as you will be when you see it, and can't wait for the first one to come off the production line.
